Do Surge Protectors work?
I have four surge protectors to protect one PC they are connected the following way: Wall -> Protector 1 -> Protector 2 -> Protector 3 -> Protector 4 -> PC Information:: >Protector 1 Name: Belkin SugeMaster Gold Current: L-N : 30,000 amps, L-E : 30,000 amps, N-E : 15,000 amps (total 75,000 amps) Joules Rating : L-N : 1080J, L-E : 1080J, N-E : 540J >Protector 2 Name: Belkin SurgeStrip E-Series Current: L-N : 6,500 amps Joules Rating : L-N : 558J >Protector 3 Name: PowerStar Protector Current: L-N : 10,000 amps Joules Rating : L-N : 75J >Protector 4 Name: Panora UPS Current: L-N : 10,000 amps Joules Rating : L-N : 125J I'm wondering if this is enough to protect my PC from a surge caused by a lightning strike near by. The wall outlet has its own ground wire (its only 10m long) as well as the normal house ground wire and both are grounded by 6 feet coper poles. All the protectors have either fuse or terminal fuse cut offs. L = Live, N = Neutral, E = Earth Thanks. The house also has circuit breakers and trip switch's All four protectors have surge protection for the telephone line. So the telephone line is connected the same way too. Also my ADSL modem has its own surge protector.

Best Graphics card my computer will run!?
These are my computer specs: CPU- Intel pentium E6550 @2.33GHz RAM- 2GB DDR2 400MHz MB- MSI P35/G33 Neo Series Current GPU- NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS 512mb. What is the best graphics card i can run without my CPU "Bottlenecking" it? I want to purchase the 8800 GTX, how will it run? Does anyone with similar specs run a 8800 GTX, if so, how does it go, are the drivers and forceware adequate. And no, I can't run SLI *sigh*. It's all for the game 'CRYSIS', one of the few games i can't run on high and maintain a good framerate.

wireless media center, what do i need?

A 40W,60W,100W bulbs are connected in series to a 220V supply.Which one of them will glow brighter?
Considering the fact that all the 3 bulbs are connected in series CURRENT IS CONSTANT for all three bulbs,therefore 100W bulb will glow brighter. But after verification in some books the answer is given that the 40 WATTS will glow brighter ,but why?
