Magnetic Cooktop - A Magnetic Induction Cooktop Means Instant Heat & Energy Savings

Save on your cooking utility bills, keep your kitchen cooler & cook your meals faster. Now is the time to make the switch to induction and kiss your old cooktop bye-bye.

Don't let buying new cookware stop you from purchasing one of these great magnetic cooktops. These days you can buy a complete set of new magnetic cookware for around $100. Perhaps your cookware is already magnetic.

If you have young children then this is much safer cooktop than any other on the market today.

The induction hob or burner element produces a high frequency electromagnetic field which produces a current in the magnetic cookware. As the molecules in the cookware begin to stir they produce heat which is easily controlled by the user. Only the cooking vessel actually heats up.

Today's generation of magnetic cooktops must use magnetic cookware however the Japanese have recently invented induction cooktops that will use any type of cookware. These cooktops are still a few years away from becoming mainstream.

If you are considering purchasing an induction cooktop then I would recommend not waiting for this technology because induction ready cookware is easily available at a reasonable cost.

One of the more popular brands of induction cooktops on the market today for the home is Electrolux. Electrolux is also one of the only companies that is producing hybrids. Why anyone would want combination radiant & Induction hybrid cooktops is beyond me. It kind of defeats the whole purpose of going induction.

Electric radiant cooktops are inferior and there is no reason in my eyes to buy one of these hybrids.

So what are you waiting for? Make the switch today.

Information On Electromagnetism?
I know that when you coil a insulated wire (preferably 24 gauge) around something like an iron nail and run a current through the wire you get an electromagnetic field. But what I need to know is WHY an Electromagnetic field is produced, How does a coiled wire with a current running it create an EM field. I tried looking at wikipedia but couldn't make any sense of it words like "electromotive force", magnetic induction and stuff like that. Thanks all opinions welcome

A magnetic flux and current question?
A ferromagnetic toroid has a cross-section of 4mm² and average length L = 30 cm. The number of turns is 500(turns). There is a 1 mm gap and the magnetic induction is 1 T(Tesla) in the gap. Determine the magnetic flux in the core and the current which is applied ( µr = 500, µ0 = 4? x 10^?7 )

Speaker Design? Does anyone know anything about the practical physics behind speakers? Stereo speakers?
I have an interest in how speakers function. I have a basic understanding of electro-magnetics, and am primarily interested in the magnetic oscillations which cause the coil to vibrate. Specifically, how variations in the size and strength of the fixed magnet, length and gauge of the copper coil, and operating power affects the intensity of the oscillations, and how that in turn determines sound quality. I am really interested in the basics so I can build some prototype systems and experiment. I am however having difficulty finding resources on the subject either online or in the library. I have access to a large university library and am assuming there must be some literature on the subject, so if there are keywords in the physics community I can try searching to find them please let me know (I keep getting junk about public speaking and dead celebrities). Any online resources would help too. I have several texts with chapters on magnetic induction and electromagnetic theory, but I now need something about the specifics of speaker design. Thanks

URGENT! How to find acceleration of a rolling conductor?
Given Information: A rolling conductor weighs 0.1kg and its length is 0.05m. Electric current is 20A and the magnetic induction B is 1.5T. m=0.1kg l=1.05m I=20A B=1.5T Find the conductor's acceleration! I don't need the full solution to this... It'd be enough if somebody could explain me on how to solve the problem! Thanks a bunch =)

is electro magnetic induction present underground and in water?
Is electro magnetic induction present underground and in water? if yes, then it means that electro magnetic waves such as radio waves and microwaves also should be present in underground... Then why we are not able to communicate while we are travelling underground?!?!?
