Uninterruptible Power Supply to Ensure Continuous Electrical Flow

• Online or Double Conversion: It restricts supply fluctuation by maintaining voltage and frequency variations within set limits and continuously supply power from its energy reserves stored in a lead-acid battery.
• Line Interactive: It stabilizes and regulates voltage fluctuations and on power failure, its bi-directional unit switches to inverter mode to supply battery power.
• Offline or Passive Standby: Tracks voltage and frequency variations in the mains supply power through its own output and immediately switch from utility power to its own power source on occurrence of power failure.
Cities run on electricity. The more developed the city is, the more is its electricity consumption. Today no company, office, industry can bear the consequences of interruptible power supply. Just a second's break in the electricity supply can result in huge loss. Hence, in order to stay away from this sort of worry and pressure, it is highly advised to procure better systems of UPS so that smooth, 24 hours electricity supply can be maintained.

Does my Macbook Pro Cord automatically adjust electrical flow when I'm in Chile?
I have a Macbook Pro and I am currently studying abroad in chile. I was wondering if the white rectangular box part of the power cord automatically adjusts to the standard 120V used in Chile. I currently have it plugged into an energy convertor and it is making a buzzing noise. I was also wondering if that is normal. So my 2 questions (in summary): 1) DOes my Macbook Pro's power cord automatically adjust to the required Chilean 120V? and 2) Is the buzzing noise I am hearing normal because of the energy conversion or because the computer is connected to 2 converters (side note: the buzzing is coming from the white rectangular part of the power cord). Thanks soooo much!!!
