Charging Up!
There is this miraculous thing created for car batteries to work their wonders. It is the alternator, the part that is responsible for antagonizing the power charge from the battery to the car. But first, here is a little peek under the hood to better understand how alternators work. An alternator is an electromechanical device that converts mechanical energy to alternating current electrical energy. Most alternators use a rotating magnetic field but linear alternators are occasionally used. In principle, any AC generator can be called an alternator, but usually the word refers to small rotating machines driven by automotive and other internal combustion engines, like the car.
The Acura Alternator is used to charge the battery and to power the car's electric system when its engine is running. Alternators have the great advantage over direct-current generators of not using a commutator, which makes them simpler, lighter, less costly, and more rugged than a DC generator. The stronger construction of the Acura Alternators allow them to turn twice as fast as the engine, improving output when the engine is idling. The availability of low-cost solid-state diodes from about 1960 allowed auto manufacturers to substitute alternators for DC generators.
The Acura Alternators have a voltage regulator built into them, and this operates by modulating the small field current in order to produce a constant voltage at the stator output. The field current is much smaller than the output current of the alternator; for example, a 70-amp alternator may need only 2 amps of field current. However, alternators may wear out due to fan cooling loss, bearing loss, copper loss, and when the voltage drops in the diode bridges. If this should happen, seek professional help and consider having a Acura Alternator installed.
The credible efficiency of all Acura car parts have made their name synonymous to quality and reliability. Acura has become more than the Luxurious version of the Honda, but it has also earned its own reputation as the provider of durable parts that enhance the performance of the car.
A real hot chick who is fond of car stuffs. Even Katherine was still a student she always impart his extra time in joining her friends in the car racing organization.

Can alternating current electricity arc? If so is it really only moving back and forth?
The way I understand AC current to flow seems to be contrary to the way an electrical arc works. I could be wrong but it seems only DC current can make an arc.

POLL: Has anyone *ever* in their lives had popcorn....?
...that was NOT 100% Whole Grain?? *lol* ^_^
What *is* popcorn anyway, right? You're heating up *seed corn* until it kerplodes or something....is it even *possible* to get this stuff and *not* get it Whole Grain?
Why is this even a selling point? This is like trying to sell light bulbs by pointing out the really obvious: They're Bright!, and Look, They're Actually 100% Compatible With Your Socket! And They Use Alternating Current Electricity Even, Wow!
Are people really that dumb, that they think we will *fall for* this crap? Or has life just gone down the toilet without my knowing it?
Just wondering. *rofl* =))
Edit for clarity--didn't mean "seed corn" as in what's planted by farmers, I meant a *form* of corn that you usually get in a *seed state*. It hasn't sprouted, it isn't processed off the cob like most forms of canned corn.
And I was referring to the recent Orville Redenbacher crap....but hey, if nobody sees it, all the better for *me*, right? *lol* And I don't need to get high to come up with this stuff...I know. I'm sober and awake even. ^_^

A question about 'alternating current' electricity?
I read that we originally had direct-current for electricity. Then some guy figured out alternating current electricity. An electrician at work said that electricity comes into our homes and businesses, our lights and appliances take heat out, and then the electricity goes back to the power company.
Is any of this accurate?
